RESUMO:

The new communication and information technologies have impacted all spheres of social life. Among these spheres, as far as the educational process is concerned, digital technologies have also impacted teaching and learning processes. In the case of Brazil they provoked new forms of exclusion and deprivation. In this context, in order to deal with the new processes of digital exclusion, Public Policy of digital inclusion is implemented, such as ProInfo. The research "Digital Technologies and the ProInfo: An Evaluation of the Effectiveness of the program in Juazeiro do Norte/CE”. Has as main objective to carry out an evaluation of the effectiveness of the program in the public schools of Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará. More specifically the objectives are: a) to describe the implementation of ProInfo in Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará. More specifically the objectives are: a) to describe the implementation of ProInfo in Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará; B) investigate whether the objectives of the program were understood by managers and teachers; C) to investigate the evaluation of the program according to the perspective of teachers, students and managers. The methodological process will consist of documentary and bibliographical research, literature review on the themes discussed for the construction of an analytical framework. In the data collection process, intensive interviews will be carried out with the program managers in the city in question, as well as focus groups with the students of the schools in order to evaluate the effectiveness of ProInfo in the city of Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará.
