RESUMO:

In the work that is ahead we search analyse the transports accidents, with the focus on what happened involving motorcycles, in the Picos-Pi’s city in the time period for the years 2013 2014 e 2015 trying to outline of possible relations between the cultural matrices of individuals to the senses – in the Weberian understanding of the senses – that these gave for their actions in the traffic, generanting a possible behavior that amplified the possibilities of the accident to occur. The used methodological structure goes through the construction of a victimization survey for understanding the degree of the problem, traversing the trail of the theoretical apparatus of sociologist Bernard Lahire for the construction of the sociological portraits of some of the fatal victims of the phenomenon in cause, beyond of sociological portrait in the way that occur the accident. We also use the Weberian analytic structure of the ideals types to follow the current social relations in the transits and to draw it as environment of behavior following for this the Goffman’s notes. Added critically this analytical structurethe Bourdieu's theory of habitus thus drawing our methodological tool. The observations until the moment indicate a low-income population, low schoolingmotorized mainly by motorcycles and highly victimized by traffic accidents involving this type of vehicle.
