SUMMARY:

The study proposal is in the territory of the State of Mato Grosso, formed by three of the largest Brazilian biomes: Amazon, Pantanal and Cerrado. This state's challenge is to create new development alternatives, in order to reduce its dependence and external vulnerability, expand the social results of economic dynamics and, mainly, moderate the environmental impacts resulting from the use and exploitation of its natural resources. There is action on several fronts of social mobilization of subjects against the State in the search for survival, through income and quality of life. In this sense, associations, formal and informal solidarity economy groups and various cooperatives meet these formalities in different territories and places. However, building social practices that value workers means building alternatives for organizing society, as a way of opposing the capitalist system, and breaking the alienating and exclusionary process. Milton Santos, in the book “The Citizen's Space”, in view of the discussion of space, points out this form of organization, based on counter-rationality, circles of cooperation against hegemonics and organic rationality. The research seeks to discuss this territory and the subjects within it, bringing counter-rationalism through solidarity cooperativism, agroecology and cooperation. Therefore, workers choose their form of organization - which means granting the working class the opportunity not to submit to the division of labor, especially in the relationship of salaried work. The aim is to bring references to the research, highlighting the territory of Mato Grosso, to contextualize and build reflections on the agrarian issue and the impacts of the use of pesticides in agribusiness monocultures, as well as highlighting the movement of solidarity cooperativism and possible production free of poison in the state of Mato Grosso. The construction of this new conception generates possibilities to deconstruct the inequalities that, historically, exist between social classes. Thus, one possibility is collective work developed in solidarity cooperatives. Considering these arguments, we outline the general objective of the thesis: Analyze the relationships between the dynamics of places and their counter-rationalities based on the role of the Incubator of Solidarity and Sustainable Economic Enterprises – INCUBEESS and the PECSOL program, therefore how it contributes to the organization process and maintenance of solidarity cooperatives and agroecology in the state of Mato Grosso. Carrying out this research is in line with the development of actions with various subjects, linked to formal solidarity cooperative groups in some municipalities in the southwest region of the state of Mato Grosso.
