Health Education is a process of training professionals in the field for the purpose of a continuous and updated practice of care in the service. In the technical-scientific-informational environment, this process has been made possible in Brazil via Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), exemplifying the Virtual Learning Environment of the Unified Health System (AVASUS). In this context, is it problematic how Health Education is processed in the Brazilian territory, in the technical-scientific-informational environment? Based on this primal issue, we sought to investigate the heterogeneity of the Brazilian territory in the light of socioeconomic and health care indicators; the normative trajectory of Health Education in Brazil and the creation of AVASUS and the impacts of training through this platform on health services in Brazil. In this research, it was defined as a general objective to analyze the Health Education process, in the technical-scientific-informational environment, in the Brazilian territory, and as specific objectives to describe the configuration of the national territory in the light of socioeconomic and health care indicators; evidence the normative trajectory of Health Education in Brazil and the creation of AVASUS and evaluate the impacts of the training offered by this platform in the health service in Brazil. As methodological procedures, bibliographic research on territory, network, flow, fixed, Health Education and Education mediated by ICT were used; documentary research on websites and reports from IBGE, Atlas of Human Development, IPEA and Ministry of Health sources such as Datasus, CNES and AVASUS for the configuration of the territory in the light of socioeconomic and health care indicators, and field research, the latter carried out through an online questionnaire made available on AVASUS. The results revealed that, in the technical-scientific informational medium, despite the socioeconomic heterogeneity and health assistance existing in Brazil, the health training provided by AVASUS covered the national territory and positively impacted the service in terms of reorienting professional practice.
