Facing a scenario which researches related to public administrations, geography, and government laws linked to sanitation are less than 1% of international scientific publications, those aspects became relevant as objects of analysis, mainly, in development countries where these lack of infrastructure are more evident. In this case, Brazil emerges as an object of study and contextualization given that its public policy of sanitation has more than a decade and the country still faces a distance from de universalization of sanitation services. Therefore, the aim of this study is evaluate, in the Brazilian public policy of sanitation as so as in the demographic concept, which aspects in public policy of sanitation are reflecting in the consolidation of sanitation services in the country.
