Municipal Sanitation Plan. Final Disposal of Treated Sewers. Brazilian Semi-Arid.
Brazil is living a moment of planning for basic sanitation and the municipalities are the main actors at that moment. The Municipal Sanitation Basic Plans are responsible for characterizing the sanitation sector in the four main axes, such as water supply, drainage of rainwater, solid waste and sanitary sewage, this phase of characterization and information gathering is known as diagnosis Participatory partner, where the population plays an important role in identifying the problems of the municipal health system. After the participatory technical diagnosis elaborated, the technical, environmental, social and economic aspects of each municipality must be considered so that a sanitation system implementation plan can be elaborated, which best meets the reality of the municipality, with a maximum term of twenty years For the complete implantation, that is, the municipal plans of basic sanitation characterize and plan the implantation of the municipal system of basic sanitation. Based on the information presented in the municipal sanitation plans, we propose a study that should portray the final disposal of treated effluents in the northern Brazilian semi-arid region, making it possible to portray the current situation and the future prospects for the municipalities in that region.
