BUSCA E USO DE INFORMAÇÕES: COMPORTAMENTO INFORMACIONAL DE ALUNOS DOS CURSOS TÉCNICOS DA ESCOLA AGRÍCOLA DE JUNDIAÍ
Competence in Information. Informational Behavior. ISP model. Information sources.
Competence in information has expanded in society facing the need of the individual to develop a set of skills, attitudes and knowledge about the informational universe. Thus, this research has as its general objective to investigate the competence in information of the students of the 3rd year of the Technical Courses of the Jundiaí Agricultural School. And as specific objectives we analyze in the literature the best practices aimed at forming the skills necessary for the subject to locate the information, as well as describe the skills and informational behavior of the subjects involved in the process of using information sources; to verify the obstacles encountered by the subjects in the activities of access to information and knowledge construction using the Information Search Process (ISP) model; Finally, we propose an intervention with theoretical / practical workshops to enable the subjects to make use of the library, ABNT norms and information sources. The theoretical support was based on Dudziak (2003, 2006, 2016), Kuhlthau (2010), Cunha, Amaral and Dantas (2015), González-Teruel (2005), Gasque and Costa (2010), Lau (2007), among others. In the methodological course they are characterized as an applied, exploratory and descriptive research, of quali-quantitative nature, regarding the bibliographical technical procedures and an action research. The research field will be the Jundiaí Agricultural School, the universe will consist of the students of the technical courses and the sample formed by the graduating students of the 3rd year. The data collection instruments will be a questionnaire and theoretical / practical workshops that will be applied to the students. The result of the questionnaires will be analyzed using the Likert Scale and the answers obtained in the workshops will be analyzed from the Bardin content analysis.
