In the context of management consultancy, it is natural that gaps are identified in day-to-day operations. In this context, the general objective of this work encompasses the identification of these gaps, development and application of a technological tool using the applied research methodology in a department of a food retail company. With the support of open project management platforms and using as a basis the perspective of the main areas of activity of the business process management (BPM) methodology, which are: people, business and processes, the result achieved reveals the elevation of the level of managerial maturity of the company. company from the lowest level of the scale adopted to the intermediate level, leading to cascading effects in the operation for the recursive application of the BPM methodology in other sectors of the operation.
