Transparency of Information in a Federal Education Institution

The Access to Information Law (Law No. 12,527 / 2011) is an important democratic advance consequence of civil society engagement and Brazil's adhesion to a global movement encouraging transparency. The present research intends to diagnose the compliance with the AIL in a federal educational institution, studying respect for the right of access to information or its mitigation, verifying the effectiveness of passive transparency through the Electronic Information for Citizens (e-SIC), analyzing the publication of information on collective interest in the institution's website (active transparency) and proposing measures to improve the execution of the AIL. The study will be carried out on the basis of reports issued by e-SIC itself and information extracted from the website of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte, through an approach quantitative, descriptive, using the inductive method, application of the research technique bibliographic and documentary, with data collection by interview and application of checklist
