AVALIAÇÃO DOS PARAMETROS HEMATOLOGICO E IMUNOFENOTÍPICOS DE PACIENTES COM DOENÇAS LINFOPROLIFERATIVAS CRÔNICAS NO RIO GRANDE DO NORTE
Chronic Lymphoproliferative Diseases; Flow Cytometry, Immunophenotyping
The chronic lymphoproliferative diseases (CLPD) are disorders of lymphoid sistens characterized by abnormal proliferation of mature lymphocytes that assaut more B cells, to be also occur in T lymphocyts an natural killer cells. In this study, we studied 445 patients (243 male and 202 female) with CLD. They were immunophenotyped using the flow cytometry with the panel of monoclonal antibody constituted by CD2, CD3 CD7, CD4, CD5, CD8, CD10, CD19, CD22, CD23, CD25, CD38, CD45, CD16/CD56, CD200, FMC7, HLADR and anti light and heavy chain of immunoglobulin. In addition, we also investigated information refer to patients as age, sex and laboratorial date such as: leucometry and cytomorphological analysis of cells in peripheral blood, platelet count and hemoglobim determination. The results demonstrated that 386 cases were B-cell disorders and 59 T and NK CLPD. The B cell CLPD distribution were: 245 cases of B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia, 17 B-cell Pro-Lymphocytic Leukemia (B-PLL), 08 Hairy Cell leukemia (HCL),14 Mantle Cell Lymphoma, 02 Splenic Lymphoma with Villous Lymphocytes, 30 Multiple Myeloma, 12 Plasma Cell Leukemia, 09 Burkitt Lymphoma and 37 non-Hodgkin lymphoma in leukemic phase. The T-cell disorders were:13 cases of T-cel of Pro-Lymphocytic leukemia, 10 case of LGL leukemia, 08 case of Adult T-Cell Leukemia, 05 Sezary sindrome (SS) and 22 T-cell peripheral lymphoma. In conclusion, the use of panel MoAb proved useful in the diagnosis and classification of immune CLPD and, combined with a careful cytomorphological analysis, was adequate for diagnosis and immunological characterization of the different subtypes of these tumors.
