SUMMARY:

From a memory registered in the body, this work emerges in an ethical-political direction of opposing the deadly discourse that assaults the gender and sexuality dissident bodies. If the encounter with cisheteronormativity produces subjects, in this operation, it also produces remains that may be recorded as unspeakable and carry a life potentiality. From the dialogue and tension between psychoanalysis and queer studies, it is proposed that dissident bodies carry the stories of the marks left by the encounter with normativity, which can be made visible and reconstructed as a memory work. Thus, the objective of this work was to co-construct singular narratives with gender and sexuality dissident subjects from Natal/RN and their personal photographic collections. Photography was embraced as an invitation to a rapprochement with the invisibilized remains in the history of a
dissident body. In this sense, three narratives were co-constructed, a process that made visible and allowed to name the listening and presence particularities that were produced in the co-construction experiences. Therefore, we propose to name the conditions through which a listening and a presence seem to enable or hinder the work of re-writing the remains in the body. A presence aligned with cisheteronormative ideals ends up reinserting the subject into the deadly normativity circuit, while a vitalizing presence is produced in the recognition that within the remains, there is something to be reignited, through a thread of narrative that allows the reconstruction of both history and the body.We suggest that cisgender hurry insists on blocking the possibilities of naming life in dissidence in order to defend itself from the destabilizations that a dissident body provokes in normative ideals. Finally, we arrive at testimony as an ethical-political work memory to challenge modes of subjectivation and update the discourses of gender and sexuality.
