SUMMARY:

The CFP Resolution No. 15, dated June 11, 2022, establishes guidelines for the work of psychologists in the socio-educational system. This study analyzes its development process, grounded in the principles of Latin American Critical Political Psychology (PPCL) and structured through two complementary studies. The first consists of a narrative literature review from the Revista Psicologia Politica (RPP), exploring how its articles address the Socio-Educational Internment Measures (MSEI). The second focuses on the documentary analysis of minutes, reports, and videos produced between 2015 and 2022. Using a qualitative and exploratory-descriptive approach, the methodology included bibliographic review and document and audiovisual analysis. The RPP review revealed that, out of 10 studies published from 2002 to 2022, eight relied on European authors such as Foucault, Freud, and Castel, with no references to the PPCL; only one addressed racism, and another was grounded in Political Psychology. The documentary analysis identified divergences and contradictions centered on Article 4 of the Resolution, particularly concerning the concept of critique embedded within. The findings, interpreted through the PPCL lens, revealed a partial convergence between initial professional demands and RPP publications but underscored the absence of a Latin American critique of socio-education. The study broadens reflections on the role of the Federal Psychology Council (CFP) in policy formulation and its institutional and professional implications.
