In this sense, it can be a powerful tool for improving the quality of health care for Health Unic System -HUS users, in particular for people with chronic injuries, in view of the rescue of these subjects' self-esteem and the contribution it can bring to reflection and reorganization of the care process. It is a descriptive research, of the survey type, having as a scenario the Basic Health Units of Natal. As research subjects, nursing professionals who treat users with venous ulcers will participate. To obtain the data, a questionnaire on google form will be used. A public policy to face the various health problems, whether morbidity or mortality, needs a reliable information base, which supports and guides decision-making. Thus, nursing records are essential elements in the care process and, when written in a way that portrays the reality to be documented, enable communication between the health team, in addition to serving several other purposes, such as: teaching, research, audits, legal proceedings, planning, statistical purposes and others.
