Continuing Education in the daily life of primary care teams: Perception-action of professionals

Continuing Education in Health is an important ally in the knowledge of professionals who are part of the Primary Care teams, being a very relevant tool to improve the teams' work process. It is noteworthy that PE must be continuously strengthened and needs to be thought of as a human development, being essential for decision making to change the realities facing the challenges of the health sector. This study aims to analyze the perception of professionals in Primary Care in the city of Sousa/PB about permanent education. It will be held in the municipality of Sousa, located in the interior of the state of Paraíba. The study has a qualitative approach, descriptive and participatory nature with the design of action research. Participants will be primary care professionals, chosen according to the design of the sampling plan, through a simple random drawing, meeting the inclusion criteria. The data collection procedure will follow four steps that will have the active participation of the actors involved. As expected results of the research, it is believed that it will bring important elements for the construction of an action plan as a way to contribute so that PE is experienced effectively in the daily lives of work teams and consequently improve the health care provided to users.
