SUMMARY:

This dissertation analyzes the Production, Agro-industrialization and
Commercialization Cooperative of the Agrarian Reform Settlements of the Mato-Grande and
Greater Natal Region (COOAP), with the aim of understanding how its practices express the articulation between different forms of capital, strategies of collective action and insertions in multiple fields, contributing to the construction and reproduction of productive territories in the context of agrarian reform. Based on the sociology of Pierre Bourdieu, the research mobilized analytical categories capable of interpreting the internal dynamics of the Cooperative, from a qualitative research, which used field observation, institutional records, participation in events and interviews, systematized from 11 activities of COOAP, in the period from 2024 to 2025. The results showed that COOAP does not constitute an autonomous field, but an organization that occupies a relational position between different fields, in which economic, political and symbolic dimensions are articulated, being marked by tensions between the logic of the market, the principles of cooperativism and the Habitus built in experiences prior to the cooperative. In addition, it was found that, although economic capital presents structural limitations, the Cooperative sustains its performance through the intense mobilization and conversion of social and symbolic capital, associated with the militant trajectory of the members. Furthermore, militant habitus emerges as a central element in the organization of collective practices, guiding dispositions geared towards solidarity, self-management, and political action.
