This research analyzes the representation of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the South Korean series Extraordinary Attorney Woo (2022), seeking to understand how the audiovisual narrative constructs meanings about neurodiversity and ableism in the context of contemporary media. The study begins with a theoretical review of social representations, cultural studies, and disability studies, articulating the symbolic and discursive dimensions present in audiovisual works. Methodologically, it combines Content Analysis (Bardin, 2009) and Film Analysis (Vanoye; Goliot-Lété, 2012; Penafria, 2009) to examine both the narrative aspects and the technical and aesthetic elements of the series. Partial results indicate that the Korean production, although reproducing certain stereotypes, contributes to the expansion of representations of autism by articulating local cultural values and global debates on inclusion and diversity. The research thus highlights the role of K-dramas as spaces for social representation and as instruments of symbolic circulation that reconfigure discourses about identity, difference, and belonging in transnational media.
