This study explores the use of the X Spaces (formerly known as Twitter Spaces) by journalists in covering the reality show Big Brother Brasil 2024. The primary objective of this research is to investigate how this live audio platform is being integrated into journalistic practices, particularly in the production, distribution, and interaction with the audience during high-visibility events. Through a case study (Yin, 2001) focusing on the Spaces created by journalist Murilo Ribeiro (Muka), the analysis delves into the process of constructing and managing these conversations, highlighting how journalists utilize the live audio environment for real-time reporting and debates. The research is grounded in theories by Raquel Recuero (2009; 2011) on digital social networks, Manuel Castells (1999) on the network society, and Laurence Bardin (2016) for content analysis. Preliminary results indicate that X Spaces offers a dynamic environment for promoting journalistic practices, enabling more interactive and immediate coverage, enriching public dialogue, and strengthening the connection between journalists and the audience.
