In 2019, the US cable channel, HBO, premiered the first season of the TV series Euphoria, a production inspired by the homonymous Israeli series from 2012-2013. The narrative explores contemporary challenges faced by adolescents in school settings. This research aims to understand how Euphoria puts into debate the discussions about themes such as identity, culture, politics, and social values for a given group. For the development of this study, virtual netnography/ethnography will be used (Kozinets, 2014; Hine, 2004), combined with film analysis (Vanoye; Goliot-Lete, 2012; Rose, 2008), to analyze the diegetic properties of the series and how this impacts on the relations of consumption and public receptivity, with the aid of qualitative research application with viewers and fans of the production in a selected community in Telegram. The analysis will be supported by Cultural Studies and media reception (Canclini, 2005; Morin, 2002b, Williams, 1992; 2016), aiming to understand the process of construction and adaptation of narratives, identifying the use of aesthetic and diegic resources to approach reality more (Jost, 2012; Mungioli; Pelegrini, 2013).
