A Comprehensive Overview of the Photometric Properties of Solar-Type Stars
Stellar Variability; Stellar Flares; Solar-Type; Stellar Evolution.
The Sun is the only known star that has life in its system. Furthermore, studies indicate the relationship between
stellar variability and stellar evolution. In this study, we will analyze solar-type stars observed by the Kepler and Transiting
Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) missions in their low- and high-cadence light curves, aiming to identify the different stellar
variabilities attributed to rotation, pulsation, and stellar binarity. To determine the periodicities of the present variabilities, we
will use the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), the Lomb-Scargle periodogram, and the wavelet map. Additionally, we will identify
stellar flares in the sample and calculate the energies associated with the events using the data provided by the AltaiPony
algorithm. With the obtained data, it will be possible to discuss the implications of these parameters for stellar evolution.
