This work analyzes the way in which the implementation of educational policy occurs, specifically, the socio-emotional competences established by the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), in the view of teachers, managers, technicians and sector coordinators of municipal and state education departments from the city of Recife/PE Brazil.. What are the specific difficulties and challenges associated with the implementation of socio-emotional skills. Aiming to contribute to a critical reflection offering means to understand problems arising from changes in the labor market introduced by neoliberalism.
