Competency Management; Business Process Management; CompetencyBased Process Management
Competency management has been recognized as a relevant strategy for enhancing organizational performance, especially when articulated with business process management. In the context of public administration, this approach promotes alignment between civil servants’ competencies and institutional demands, contributing to greater efficiency in task execution. Therefore, this study aims to identify how mapped competencies can contribute to structuring process management within the Human Resources Unit of Dr. Mariano Coelho Regional Hospital, which is part of the State Department of Public Health of Rio Grande do Norte. The research adopts a qualitative approach, of an applied nature and descriptive character, and is conducted through document analysis and bibliographic research. Data analysis will be carried out using the IRaMuTeQ software and the systems employed to monitor activity performance, in order to identify workflow processes, their operational weaknesses, and the competencies required for their execution.
