MODEL PROPOSAL FOR CONTROL OF THE GAS INJECTION CHOKE IN THE CONTINUOUS GAS-LIFT METHOD
Gas-lift continuous, artificial lift method, automatic control
The artificial lift method, Gas-lift continuous, is widely used, mainly in subsea wells, due to its robustness, simplicity and ability to operate the wide flow range. This method consists of continuous injection of gas at a certain point in the production column causing the flow pressure in the well bottom to decrease and the production flow increase. In order to maintain the well operating by gas-Lift in optimum operating conditions, electronic controllers have been used to make adjustments to some parameters and optimize the gas injection. Thus, an automatic gas injection controller was developed through the choke,
with the aim of increasing the production flow. To validate the control, it integrated it into the Tracelift software and tested the tool with field data.
