DEVELOPMENT OF SKILLS AMONG GRADUATES FROM THE LATO SENSU COURSE IN PUBLIC HEALTH.

Introduction: Training in public health must be critical-reflective to respond to the challenges of today's society. For this reason, the political pedagogical project of the lato sensu postgraduate course in public health at the Dr. Jorge David Nasser School of Public Health mixes strategies from the active teaching-learning methodology, aiming at the necessary skills for future health workers, guided by transversal axes of competence. Therefore, training based on competence is adopted, incorporating understanding, reflection and criticism as inherent dimensions. In this sense, the general objective of this research is to assess the development of general and specific competences among graduates of the lato sensu postgraduate course in health at the Dr. Jorge David Nasser School of Public Health, using the portfolio as a documental material to be researched . Method: a document analysis research will be carried out, with mixed character, from the data collection, to be carried out from April 2021 to October 2021. Expected results: It is expected that this research can contribute to the forging of suitable instruments and effective for the development of professional skills for the Unified Health System, in addition to indicating whether the instruments used in the graduate program in public health at the Dr. Jorge David Nasser School of Public Health met the proposed objectives.
