DEVELOPMENT AND CHARACTERIZATION OF PVDF/NPsCaO NANOCOMPOSITE FILMS FOR APPLICATION IN THE TREATMENT OF PRODUCED WATER AND TEXTILE EFFLUENT
PVDF; calcium oxide nanoparticles; water treatment; textile effluent; produced water.
This project aims to develop and characterize PVDF-based nanocomposites reinforced with calcium oxide nanoparticles, aimed at application in the treatment of textile effluent and produced water – liquid waste with high pollutant load from the textile industry and oil exploration, respectively. The polymeric films will be obtained by phase inversion, evaluating their structural, thermal, morphological, mechanical and photocatalytic properties. The analyses will include XRD, SEM, FTIR, TGA, DSC, in addition to performance tests in the removal of dyes and organic contaminants. The incorporation of CaO nanoparticles is expected to provide significant improvements in the functional properties of PVDF, promoting sustainable alternatives for the treatment of industrial wastewater.
