Production of Lipidic Biocompounds by Rhodotorula mucilaginosa using molasses as substrate: Use of Deep Eutectic Solvents for recovery and incorporation in a nano-emulsified cosmetic
Rhodotorula mucilaginossa, Lipidic biocompouds, Recovery, Deep Eutectic Solvents and Nano-emulsified cosmetics.
In the last years, industrial and commercial sectors are showing a substantial interest in the cosmetics once these products are known to improve youth and heath. So, researches have been carried out aiming found new cosmetics formulations that answer the commercial demand and the environmental requisites too. The present study objective is to investigate the oil-lipid and carotenoid production by the Rhodotorula mucilaginosa yeast in a cultivation where will be used molasses as substrate and also study the liquid extraction of them by a process in accord with the green chemical principles using Deep Eutectics Solvents. At last, the obtained compounds will made part of a nano-emulsified cosmetic formulation.
