With advancements in time series forecasting, the N-BEATS (Neural Basis Expansion Analysis Time Series) algorithm has proven highly effective in modeling complex data. Introduced by Oreshkin et al. (2020), it outperforms traditional models, such as autoregressive methods and MLPs, by addressing nonlinear patterns without requiring extensive prior data knowledge.

This study applied N-BEATS to forecast weekly vaccine quantities in Rio Grande do Norte and Espírito Santo. Demonstrating superior performance, with minimal preprocessing and robust predictions, N-BEATS offers strategic value for managing vaccination campaigns, ensuring efficient and precise immunization distribution.
