The generation of digital content increases every year. Some of this content consists of images aggregated with information such as text, video, audio, and so on. When displaying this information on a diversity of devices and variety of display sizes, it is challenging to autonomously resize the images while preserving important content. The Seam Carving algorithm is an algorithm proposed to solve this problem, but it does not obtain satisfactory results on a large image set. We propose to modify the Seam Carving algorithm to allow stable behavior independently of the presented image, therefore conserving the important content autonomously. Experiments on test images demonstrate the stable behavior of the proposed algorithm.
