Low-cost Augmented Virtual Reality System for Traditional Classroom Environments

The Computer Vision is a field of study that works with methods for acquisition, processing and image understanding,or in other words, is the science responsible for the machine vision. Virtual reality , studies the technologies that allow replication of real or virtual environments. With the cheapening of display devices ( Head-Mounted Display ) for Virtual Reality, increasingly we observe the inclusion of this kind of tools in educational environments. This work aims to create a system that supports Virtual Learning Objects with Virtual and Augmented Reality elements in a combination with computer vision methods to support the classes, so that useful information can be added in time-real during class. Will be designed a software architecture that allows the use of mobile devices along the LMS (Learning Management System) .
