Frequency Selective Surfaces of the Type Absorb/Transmit Broadband
Frequency Selective Surfaces, Absorbers, Multilayer, Broadband
Selective Surfaces in Frequencies are increasingly being used in telecommunications systems due to the numerous advantages presented by this type of structure, among them the low cost and ease of manufacture and low profile stand out. Electromagnetic wave absorbers are structures that have the objective of absorbing signals in a certain frequency range, while allowing the passage of signals outside it, this type of structure has been widely used in order to solve the problem of multipaths. In this work, the use of FSS in multilayer absorbers is investigated to obtain broadband absorption. The proposed structure should operate in the frequency range between 2GHz and 6GHz, six structures were proposed and analyzed in a comparative way in order to observe the effect of each FSS in the frequency response of the absorber. The analysis of the proposed structures was carried out through simulations performed in commercial software.
