Development of a cryptographic algorithm for wireless sensor network in an environment based on a software defined radio.
Wireless Instrumentation, Embedded Electronics, Encryption
In this work is proposed the development of an cryptographic algorithm to be applied in Industrial Wireless Sensor Networks. The main goal is to verify the viability of the insertion of the developed algorithm in a real environment based on a software defined radio system, for this it will be analyzed data of execution time, memory space used and metric such as dispersion and correlation. Preliminary results have shown that the present algorithm has high energy efficiency, low computational cost and good cryptographic quality. Thereby, it is expected to increase the security in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), having in consideration performance, memory and energy consumption restrictions.
