Implementation of a Takagi-Sugeno Fuzzy System on FPGA

This work aims to present the development of dedicated hardware of a system based on Fuzzy logic for a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). The proposed uses a Takagi-Sugeno inference machine, and its implementation used a hybrid strategy with fixed-point and other floating-point parts. In order to validate the proposed hardware, the work presents results through simulation in bit accuracy for several resolutions in bit size. In addition to the validation results, information on the occupation and throughput of the proposed hardware is presented. The hardware targeted an FPGA Xilinx Virtex 6 xc6vlx240t-1ff1156.
