The social demands related to the specificities of the new health professional led to the transformations in medical education. Therefore, the Curricular Guidelines suggest that the Pedagogical Projects of the Medical Courses contemplate the adoption of active teaching and learning practices, in which the student must be protagonist and autonomous in his teaching process and the teacher a facilitator, in addition to ensuring a citizen formation, (re)recognizing himself as an agent of social transformation and guarantee of rights and duties. In view of the methodological possibilities, clinical simulation stands out, which prepares students for learning in a clinical environment. Thus, the objective was to build and propose a clinical simulation program for medical education at the undergraduate level. To this end, a study of multiple methods was adopted, carried out in phases, contemplating in step 1 - the documentary study and in stage 2, the educational action research. The data collection took place in Patos, a city in the interior of Paraíba, from information collected in documents of the Medical Course of the University Center of Patos, as well as from professors of the axes of Medical Humanities and Primary Health Tendency. The systematization of the documents and the synthesis of the information took place through quantitative-qualitative analysis. As a result, we obtained the design of a clinical simulation program for medical education at the undergraduate level, from the mapping of competencies and skills provided for in the HM and PHC axis, as well as mapping and characterization of the laboratory structure of UNIFIP to support clinical simulation practices, train the faculty in the strategy of clinical simulation at UNIFIP.
