SUMMARY:

Cervical cancer remains a significant public health problem, despite being a preventable condition through screening and early detection, and is strongly associated with persistent infection by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Given the updates in screening strategies, with the incorporation of the HPV DNA test, it is necessary to improve work processes in Primary Health Care (PHC), especially regarding health education actions and the organization of care. In this context, this study aims to develop and implement an educational intervention proposal called "C Day Against Cervical Cancer," associated with the creation of technological products, including an educational video, a care protocol, and a banner, aimed at improving prevention, screening, and active search actions for users in PHC. This is a methodological study of an applied nature, based on a narrative literature review, which supports the construction of educational and organizational products. The intervention will be carried out monthly at a Basic Health Unit in the municipality of Caicó, Rio Grande do Norte, integrating educational activities and strategies to strengthen cervical cancer screening. It is expected that the proposal will contribute to the improvement of health practices, expansion of access to information for users, and strengthening of actions for the prevention and early detection of cervical cancer in Primary Health Care.
