SUMMARY:

Introduction: The integration between the Nursing Process (NP) and Primary Health Care (PHC) represents a fundamental strategy to qualify health care and strengthen nursing performance. NP is a systematized methodology that guides clinical reasoning and decision-making by nurses, allowing for individualized, continuous, and evidence-based care. In PHC, the use of NP contributes to the organization of the nursing team's work, the adequate recording of interventions, and the expansion of professional autonomy, but its implementation still faces challenges, such as gaps in professional training, work overload, and difficulties in using standardized classifications. In this context, strengthening the integration between NP and PHC requires investments that facilitate its practical application and favor the qualification of care centered on the needs of users. It is in this context that software prototypes emerge, an alternative and effective resource whose main contributions are the integration of nursing taxonomies, facilitating clinical reasoning; autonomy in learning, with accessible visual resources and usability; and can promote nursing that is more resolute, critical, and committed to the quality of health care. Objectives: Development and validation of a software prototype for teaching and learning the nursing process in primary health care based on the NANDA-I; NIC and NOC taxonomies. Methodology: This is an applied methodological research, approved by the Ethics Committee of FACISA/UFRN and with technological production of a software prototype, proposed by Pressman and based on the systems development life cycle. The research was applied to PHC nurses from a city in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte. The instrument used to validate the prototype consisted of closed questions, which evaluated the content of the clinical case; usability of the software and teaching methods of learning the cases and based on the three-point Likert Scale; and open questions, whose spaces were reserved for the main contributions of the application to professional practice and suggestions/criticisms for improving it, with the quantitative data obtained being analyzed according to the Content Validation Index (CVI). Results: Validation of the prototype with nurses demonstrated that the tool presented a responsive, intuitive, accessible, easy-to-use, clear, interactive interface that contributes to clinical and educational practice. All items in the prototype obtained CVI averages above 0.90, indicating high agreement by study participants in all criteria analyzed, reinforcing its pedagogical relevance, usability, and potential for practical application to strengthen the integration between the nursing process and primary health care. Final Considerations: At the end of the study, it was found that the objectives were achieved, making it possible to develop and validate a prototype that can enhance and solidify the teaching-learning of the nursing process in primary health care. It also reaffirms the role of educational technologies as allies in the training of more autonomous, critical professionals who are prepared to offer systematized, safe, and effective care to the population.
