PREPARATION OF A HANDBOOK FOR INTERNAL SURGICAL CLINIC I OF THE MULTICAMPI SCHOOL OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Teaching; medicine; medical internship; surgery.
In 1969, the medical internship became a period of mandatory internship for academic training, representing a phase of transition between the student and doctor states; later, it was reformed by the National Curriculum Guidelines, aiming at the formation of a generalist professional. To meet the premises of the DCN and guide the intern in his new stage of training, the purpose is to produce the EMCM's Internship Manual in Surgical Clinic I. This is bibliographic research applied as a narrative. The Manual was prepared in 3 stages: bibliographic review; construction of the Manual and formation of the committee of evaluating judges; evaluation of the Manual by the judges, using the Content Validation Index, obtaining, finally, an IVC of 1. The Manual seeks to assist the student in the final stage of his academic training, using clear and concise language, touching on the important points of the curricular component and the experience within the institution.
