BODY ADVENTURE PRACTICES: implementation of a thematic unit in an elementary school
Adventure Body Practices; Physical Education; Elementary School.
The theme of adventure is always present in different spaces in society. Lately,
it is at school and under the name of Corporal Adventure Practices (PCAs) that
the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) guarantees the presence of this
corporal practice as a mandatory curricular component in Physical Education
classes in Elementary School II. With this, the present study has the general
objective of implementing a PCA thematic unit in PE classes in the final grades
of elementary school. The research is of a qualitative nature, of the action-
research type, with an audience formed by the students of a Municipal School
of Full Time, located in the city of Fortaleza, State of Ceará. The pedagogical
intervention proposal will take place in a class of the 8th year of Elementary
School II, composed of 35 students regularly enrolled, and who agree with their
participation by signing the terms of authorization of images (photos) and
videos, of the Term of Free and Clarified Assent – TALE, by the students, and
the Term of Free and Clarified Consent – TCLE, by those responsible. The
didactic unit involving PCAs will be developed during Physical Education
classes in the third quarter of 2023. As research instruments, a questionnaire,
field diary and photo and video recording will be used in the description and
analysis of the intervention. The study hopes to increase students' adherence to
the school's physical education classes, as well as to point out limits and
possibilities that may arise during the implementation and evaluation of a
didactic unit involving PCA.
