SUMMARY:

Adventure Physical Activities (APAs) were incorporated into the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) as content for school Physical Education, expanding the possibilities of bodily experiences within the educational environment. However, their implementation still faces challenges related to the lack of materials, teacher training, and pedagogical proposals that accommodate the participation of students with different abilities and needs. In this context, this research aimed to develop, conduct, and evaluate an Adventure Physical Activities Festival, grounded in the skills outlined by the BNCC and developed from an inclusive perspective in Elementary and Middle  School Physical Education classes. Furthermore, it sought to report the construction process of a systematized teaching material on APAs, describe inclusive pedagogical procedures, implement the festival, and analyze its execution. The investigation was characterized as participant research, utilizing a qualitative approach and a descriptive nature, conducted with a class of 30 8th-grade students from a public school located in the district of Traíras, in the municipality of Macaíba/RN. Data production occurred through field diary entries, guided by an observation protocol developed by the researcher. Data were analyzed using the content analysis technique, allowing for the identification of a priori defined and emerging categories. The results showed that the festival fostered inclusion and the effective participation of students, promoting meaningful learning experiences and strengthening the sense of belonging to the group. Manifestations of physical competencies related to balance and motor coordination were also observed, as well as cognitive competencies associated with concentration, emotional control, and the expansion of knowledge regarding APAs and social competencies, expressed through cooperation, respect, and collective responsibility. Among the emerging categories, fear and overcoming challenges stood out, alongside the construction of a culture of cooperation among the participants. It is concluded that the Adventure Physical Activities Festival constituted a powerful pedagogical strategy for teaching APAs in school Physical Education, contributing to a more inclusive, participatory practice committed to the holistic development of students.
