Physical Education in dialogue with socio-emotional skills: didactic-pedagogical experiments with a look beyond sports

Socio-emotional skills have recently been included in curricula due to labor market demand that demands differentiated skills, not merely cognitive, as well as enhancing learning and fostering interpersonal relationships. The study aims to describe and discuss the potential of working with socio-emotional skills from sports to favor the good interpersonal relationship of students in the final grades of elementary school, thus improving the quality of conflicts between them. The research is characterized as a participatory research, with a qualitative approach, and focuses on the school community of the Vicar Bartolomeu State School. The sample will consist of students from the 8th grade of elementary school and teachers of the final grades of the same level of education. As data collection instrument we will have questionnaires, interviews and imagery records.
