FUTSAL TEACHING METHODOLOGY IN SCHOOL PHYSICAL EDUCATION:
A PROPOSAL BASED ON UNDERSTANDING TACTICAL GAMES
Futsal. Physical Education. Tactical games.
Futsal is characterized by being one of the most practiced and taught sports in schools.
This great adhesion is due to the great popularity that this modality has in the Brazilian society.
There are many methodologies used by teachers to teach this sport.
In this sense, tactical games for understanding emerge as a possible method of teaching this content.
The present work aims to develop a methodology of teaching futsal based on the methodology of tactical games
for understanding with students of the second year of high school.
This study is characterized as a descriptive qualitative research and will be based on action research.
Twelve futsal classes will be taught under the tactical games method by comprehension in
two second year high school classes, from a school belonging to the state school system of Ceará.
The sample consists of 40 students regularly enrolled in that year.
The instruments used in the research were: a) proposal for evaluation of the level of tactical knowledge in futsal:
a reference for collective sports authored by Souza (1999) that aims to evaluate the level
of declarative tactical knowledge and decision making in the futsal; b) teacher's field diary.
The research was submitted to the Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte and
is under documentary analysis.
