The Hospital Management program is a technological degree with an average duration of three years, designed to educate professionals capable of addressing the issues present in the daily operations of basic and mixed health centers, hospitals, and other healthcare service centers. The curriculum, developed in modules, directs professional training towards health management, based on the principle that specific topics in the field, such as health information systems, humanization policies, and also administration, such as institutional culture and marketing, logistics, and materials management, are included and geared towards preparing future managers to work in the management of the Unified Health System (SUS), which includes the public and private sectors. Therefore, UFRN’s School of Health guides the training of technologists in Hospital Management, emphasizing, in its curriculum, the professional practice of managing health services, observing technical, political, human, and ethical skills.
