SUMMARY:

Continuing Education in Health is an important issue and requires everyone to make a relevant effort to promote the meeting of the different subjects involved in health care, with their different knowledge and experiences, in favor of recognizing and building responses to the needs and demands of the population. The objectives of the research consisted of discussing the contribution of the CIB/RN in the federative pact for the construction and strengthening of the policy of permanent education in health, having as analytical references the agenda of the Ministry of Health, ordinances and documents produced on EPS (Permanent Education in Health) in this instance. Thus, it is a descriptive and exploratory research, with a qualitative approach, through documental analysis of minutes and deliberations of the CIB. The data captured in the documents were organized in an Excel® spreadsheet, version 2008, allowing the identification of topics discussed and deliberated in the CIB RN in the period from 2018 to 2021. The observation of the spreadsheet and, consequent analysis, allowed identifying similarity of content and, therefore, map analysis categories. Through content analysis, the CIB RN discussion agenda was identified regarding the object of health, investments in health and in the management of health education and permanent education actions. Thus, a prevalence in the deliberations of themes related to infrastructure and construction for health was identified, and in the minutes, the theme of qualification and training of workers, managers, and social control and regulations for the development of the Permanent Education Policy in Health predominated (PNEPS) in the state. The Bipartite Intermanagers Commission has played a fundamental role in the formulation of public policies, as a decision-making space for the discussion of strategic themes, with the perspective of advancing towards improving the health of the population, in accordance with the principles of the Unified Health System (SUS).
