SUMMARY:

This project it´s about ethics in the context of public organizations, built on two major pillars: the Brazilian Federal Constitution and the legal framework of the Ethics Management System of the Federal Executive Power. For the performance of functions, the servers, in addition to technical qualification, need political and ethical skills. Considering problems related to fragility referring to ethical posture in work processes, this research has as its general objective to analyze the conceptions about ethics in the public service of employees of the Department of Health Work Management (DEGTS), belonging to the Secretary of Work Management and Health Education (SGTES) of the Ministry of Health (MS). As specific objectives, this research propose to describe the profile of the research participants, understand the meanings of ethics and public ethics for (DEGTS) servers and identify the importance and difficulties for the exercise of work ethics developed. This is an exploratory research using a qualitative approach. Data collection will be performed through semi-structured interviews with servers working in DEGTS. The information will be analyzed through content analysis, in the thematic analysis modality. It is expected that the results of the research provide subsidies of analysis and reflections to assist future decisions related to the subject studied, considering the perspective of disseminating the importance of implementation with ethical precepts that strengthen the performance of the servers.
