Continuing Education in Health. Distance Education. COVID Pandemic 19.

Continuing Education in Health comprises the process of learning at work, based on the premise of meaningful learning and the possibility of transforming professional practices and even the organization of work. The National Policy on Continuing Education in Health is one of the structuring policies of the Unified Health System. In the State of Santa Catarina, this policy is currently managed by the School of Public Health, of the State Department of Health of Santa Catarina, in front of the challenges in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, in March 2020 a training space was created in the “EducaSaudeSC” Virtual Environment, with the objective of training, updating and streamlining information about the pandemic for health professionals who are in care at patients with Covid-19. The present study is a descriptive research whose procedures used refer to the action research of document analysis, with the objective of analyzing the contributions of the use of the Virtual Learning Environment EducaSaúdeSC for health workers in the State of Santa Catarina, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
