SUMMARY:

This research addresses the topic of working conditions and its implications for workers' health, having as a starting point the understanding that work can be considered a source of satisfaction, self-fulfillment, maintenance of interpersonal relationships and survival, but it can also be a source of suffering, pain and frustration. With the Ministry of Health's Emergency Operations Center for Covid-19 as a setting, the research has as its general objective to analyze the working conditions and their impacts on the health of the team at the Covid-19 Emergency Operations Center. As specific objectives, this study aims to map the sociodemographic and labor profile of the Covid-19 Emergency Operations Center team and to identify the stressors originating in the work environment. This is a descriptive and exploratory research with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through a structured questionnaire with members of the COE. It is expected that the results of the research provide support for analysis and reflections to help health managers in planning actions to promote the health of workers, with a view to mobilizing resources and proposals for improvements.
