SUMMARY:

The School of Public Health of the State of Maranhão (ESP / MA) is dedicated to the training and qualification of health workers to meet the needs of the SUS, developing, among other strategies, training programs, professional training and improvement. From the perspective of Continuing Education in Health and in the context of the new Coronavirus pandemic, ESP/MA offers the hybrid modality of the Community Health Agent's Technical course. Then this research project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the hybrid training of the community health agent's technical course offered by the School of Public Health of Maranhão under the students' perception. Therefore, a descriptive study of a quantitative approach will be developed in the character of a census where the student's perception will be captured through a questionnaire with closed questions applied via Google forms®. In all, there will be 254 students from the municipality of Barra do Corda and 51 students from the municipality of Tuntum. The questionnaire contains 14 questions, containing information on the characterization of the sociodemographic profile such as: age, gender, education, residence, time in the profession, knowledge and difficulties encountered in monitoring classes online and whether this is the teaching modality adopted by the School in view of the pandemic scenario, whether it is satisfactory for acquiring knowledge related to the area under study and evaluating its performance in the activities carried out. Data will be analyzed using measures of central tendency, using graphic resources for this descriptive representation. With the completion of this study, it is intended to contribute to overcome the challenges and barriers for the implementation of hybrid education, helping the continuous improvement of training processes for the Unified Health System (SUS).
