Diagnosis of electricity consumption on UFRN's Central Campus and guidelines for improving energy quality, cost reduction and preventive maintenance optimization
Energy quality, electric elergia consumption, consumption reduction
A diagnosis of the consumption and quality of the electrical energy of the university campus of UFRN is carried out with the objective of proposing alternatives aiming at the reduction of spending with electricity. Sectors with various characteristics were selected to carry out the case study. As the main criterion of choice was required the existence of the system supervisory CCK enabled in the food of the sector, as a way of acquiring all the information necessary to the study. The larger problems of each sector were raised and proposals to mitigate the problems were carried out, with the reduction of the cost of energy the ultimate goal. The results show that several are the existing problems, but at the same time, alternatives to the solution are possible and able to lead to the reduction of consumption.
