In the academic field of Fashion Design courses Technician Clothing and Textile
Engineering, CAD system is used in the teaching of modeling computerized. Thus, the
aim of this study corresponds to evaluate the usability Audaces Molds software. The
methodology used was quantitative research, exploratory and descriptive. Therefore,
in order to validate the research, we developed a usability test pilot, where the
participant had to do a certain task using the system, as was observed. In addition to
the test, the participants answered a questionnaire partner demographic and a
satisfaction questionnaire, adapted from Questionnaire for User Interaction
Satisfaction - QUIS (Shneiderman, 1998). The evaluation process was carried out by
users who have attended the discipline that uses the system as a tool, but without
much experience. Preliminary results indicate that the students felt insecure by the lack
of experience with the use of CAD/Clothing, however, the software is suitable for the
use for which it is intended, supporting the learning of computer modeling.
