Design of a Residence efficient and self sustaining: Bioclimatic architecture principles in high standard single-family residences
sustainability; rationalization; residence; bioclimatic architecture.
The scenario of the current economy has awakened in people a search for cost reductions that involve the buildings, both in construction and in the operation of them, including the daily maintenance of energy expenditure to maintain the environmental comfort. Moreover, with the population growth and the advancement of technology, the amount of equipment available and the easy access to these technologies has demanded an increase in energy costs which, in turn, has increased the impact on environmental reserves exploited to supply energy at all. Despite this scenario, there is an awakening of consciousness of people to the concern for the environment and the reduction of individual impact on nature. Thus, the object of study of this paper proposes a self-sustaining single-family residence, with the capture of solar energy and rainwater, and the use of a modulation and frames that allow the permeability of wind and direct sunlight with user control over summer and winter. During the studies, we attempted to use the concept of the hive, through its aspects modulation, rationalization, and ownership of well-defined space, adapting to one of the structures that demonstrates greater balance in nature, it is self-sustaining without conflicts between espaçose a single modulation in nature in contrast to its beautiful and indefinitely, interacting with flexibility surrounding. At this stage the main condition for the preliminary study was used bioclimatic zoning and town planning regulations of the municipality of Parnamirim / RN. Using a standardized modulation and streamlining escolhiso construction processes, developed volumetric and situational studies to meet the needs of the program and the level of interaction array of environments and suggested architectural programming.
