SUMMARY:

Working conditions and labor relations have changed over the years, driven by economic factors, technological advances, and the dissatisfaction of organized workers. This study aims to analyze how cinema has represented the repercussions of work on the lives and health of workers. To achieve this objective, a qualitative, documentary study was conducted based on the analysis of film synopses. The films were identified through two methods developed by the authors using internet databases: the first involved searches on specialized cinema platforms, and the second was based on lists of recommendations from websites that compile productions addressing the theme of work. These approaches made it possible to establish connections between film narratives and the impact of work on workers’ health. As a result, both national and international films were identified, enabling reflections not only on the health repercussions of work but also on the historical trajectory of workers, highlighting achievements, advances, and transformations in labor relations.
