ETHICS AND DEONTOLOGY OF PHOTOJORNALISM: study of contemporary photojournalistic practice in the conflicts of the Anísio Jobim Penitentiary Complex (AM) and the Alcaçuz State Penitentiary (RN)

We study the photojournalistic practice related to the rights and ethical concepts from of two cases of conflict in prison units, Complexo Penal Anísio Jobim (AM) e Penitenciária Estadual de Alcaçuz (RN), which took place in January 2017. For this, will be based on authors dealing with the history of photography, photojournalism of conflict, rights related to communication and the prison system, such as also the deontology of photojournalism. Since the mid-twentieth century, images of Conflict, pain and violence are used by the media as a stereotypical record of reality. The contemporary leads us to think of a new way of producing the images, and that's what we'll discuss in this research.
